Jerry Taylor's History Class at Towns County High School

This is the hymn that was sung at the funeral procession of Tilmon Justice, as reported by John Ferry Moore in his memoir 'Happiness From The Blind Side'--performed here by young men from Jerry Taylor's Local History Class:  Stacy Shook, Justin Shook, John Shook, and Matthew Hunter. 

In 1993, Jerry Taylor's Local History class adapted the court record into a script and acted out the trial.  The video was shot on location at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds.  

Introduction by Mrs. Margaret Dendy. 

Narrated by Adrian Hogsed, and featuring Keith Maney as Tilmon Justice, Clayton Martin as James Godard and also as Judge Wellborn, Patrick Riley as prosecuting attorney Thompson, and Justin Shook as the defense attorney Kimsey.
